With a degree in electrical engineering and a Juris Doctor degree in law, he has more than 35 years of experience working with technology companies and start-ups all over the globe. He operates businesses in a wide variety of fields including law, real estate, media, technology incubation and technology education (in the non-profit sector). He has particular expertise in law and policy regarding Artificial Intelligence and is the Editor and Co-author of the recent book, "AI and Patents, An International Perspective."

Formerly the executive director for media and business partnerships for a 2000-person enterprise with 71 offices in 29 countries, Joanne brings significant management, strategy, media and business relations experience to bear on our clients' behalf. In 2022, she was awarded the best young Executive Manager in the MENA region by Sheikh Salem Al Qasmi. She also has been nominated as Ambassador of Peace and Goodwill by the Arab European Center of Human Rights and International Law.
